Mike Gowl

Mike Gowl is the Executive Chairman at PAX Services Group (PAX). In 2013, Mike seized the opportunity to return to contracting by acquiring Patuxent Roofing and Construction.

Under his leadership, the company experienced remarkable growth, expanding its focus from multi-family properties in a single region to complex, institutional projects—including hospitals, universities, and military facilities—across multiple geographies. As the Executive Chairman, Mike plays a pivotal role in guiding the company’s strategic direction and fostering long-term growth.

With a deep-rooted career in the construction trades that began in his teenage years, Mike has accumulated extensive experience across nearly every segment of the commercial roofing industry over the past two decades. His career includes roles with major roofing system manufacturers like Firestone and Carlisle, as well as national distributors such as NB Handy and SRS.
