SITUATION

• In 2017, Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) needed full roof replacements at more than 14 elementary, middle, and high schools. The district sought a dependable roofing partner with K-12 experience that could meet demanding schedules, minimize disruption to school operations, and maintain strict safety standards.
• PAX Services Group worked with BCPS to develop a phased approach that prioritized roofing needs while accounting for the requirements of each school.

CHALLENGES

• Coordinating roof replacements across multiple schools required careful scheduling around students, staff, and daily operations. Each location presented different roofing needs and scheduling constraints, requiring a coordinated plan across the district.

• What began as a need for multiple roof replacements developed into a long-term partnership. Since 2017, the relationship has grown to encompass approximately one million square feet of roofing and more than $35 million in contract value.
